Plus size women have for a long time been forgotten when it comes to fashion as everything on the runway was designed for pencil thin like women.

I for one believe that all women are beautiful no matter what size they come in,the trick is to work around your body shape and know what works for you.

Here are a few tips on how to channel your inner diva

1.Remember Dark colours make you appear smaller while bright colours make you appear bigger.Wear bright colours for areas that are smaller and wear dark colours for parts that appear bigger to achieve a perfectly balanced look.

2-Invest in a good blazer
Slim down with a well fitting blazer that fits well onto your body.This can be used to thold a maxi dress together or to compliment a pair of skinny jeans.

KIM KARDASHIAN STEALS THE NIGHT IN A WHITE SEE THROUGH DRESS FOR THE 2015 MET GALA

Kim Kardashian and Kanye shut down the MET Gala when she appeared in an angelic white Roberto Cavalli gown..Kanye as usual , made sure his wife was the centre of attraction..

On the downside, Kim is accused of copying Beyonce's 2013 MET ball gown..Many wonder if it's intentional or an oversight..More pics below.....

BEST OUTFIT OF THE NIGHT?RIHANNA SLAUGHTERS THE RED CARPET IN YELLOW FUR COAT WITH TRAIN
Its not like Rihanna to shy away from over-the-top outfits and as such the singer brought her A game to the Met Gala.

The selfconfessed bag gal wore a yellow bathrobe inspired fur coat with golden embroidery, prints and ribbons by Guo Pei.

I love this look because first the yellow is so very lovely,secondly only Rihanna can pull this off and she did so effortlessly.
The eyecatching look stood out from the sea of see through gowns that the likes of Beyonce and Kim Kardashian wore putting Rihanna in a fashion league of her own.

STEP ASIDE KIM,BEYONCE IS A GODDESS AT THE 2015 MET GALA

Queen Bey as she is known by her fans brought down the red carpet at the 2015 Met Gala in a see though bejewelled dress by Givenchy.
She finished off the look with flawless makeup and a playful ponytail.The entire look reminds me of a well polished oscar wrapped in jewels,lol.
She was not without competition though as Kim Kardashian and JLo showed up in similar dresses.
Accompanying this golden beauty was her husband Jay Z who looked dapper in a black and white suit!
