A Nigerian man has reportedly been deported from Canada for killing a parrot within one month of relocation.

300,000 visitors including Heads of States expected to attend UMA international Trade Fair.

Girl, 12, shoots father then herself in suspected murder plot with another girl

A 12-year-old Texas girl allegedly shot her father before turning the gun on herself as part of a "murder plot" she made with another young girl to kill their families.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. last Tuesday night, September 20, at a home in Weatherford, in northwest Parker County, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene, where they found the 12-year-old girl lying in the street with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head and a handgun underneath her, the sheriff’s office said.

EBOLA DEATHS NOW AT 21: MINISTRY OF HEALTH REVEALS

 

Over 21 people have so far died from the rare Sudan Strain of Ebola. According to the Ministry of Health Spokesperson, the cumulative cases stand at 34 (16 of these have been confirmed and 18 are probable)

Of the cases reported outside Mubende: 3 have been found in Kyegegwa and 1 in Kassanda. There are no confirmed cases in Kampala as of yet.

The same report puts the Cumulative deaths at 21 (4 confirmed, 17 probable)

According to the Kampala Capital City Authority, the results of tests on a suspected Ebola death in the city are expected today but there are no deaths reported by press time.

KENYA'S NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT WILLIAM RUTO HAILS UGANDA'S NSSF AS A MODEL SAVINGS SCHEME

Kenya's newly elected president, William Ruto, hailed the savings scheme of Uganda's National Social Security Fund (NSSF) as a model for Kenyans to emulate.

He made the remarks while speaking at a retreat for the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group in Naivasha.

"Today, we are among the least savers in our continent," he said. "Tanzania has a better savings culture than us and yet they have a smaller economy. Uganda has a huge pension scheme, bigger than ours, and yet they have a smaller economy."

He said that he wanted to see the savings culture in Kenya rise so that it could be on par with its neighboring countries like Uganda, which have smaller economies but better savings practices.
