City Socialite, Olimu Charles aka Sipapa and his wife Shamira have been further remanded to Luzira Prison on charges of aggravated robbery. They robbed cash in the amount of USD 429,000, 4 iPhones, 2 Apple laptops, a DELL laptop, gold Jewelry, and a 65-inch Samsung TV among others from South Sudanese Jacob Arok who was attacked by them.
Sipapu and his wife, Shamira and others were paraded before Makindye Magistrate Court on September 9 and remanded to Luzira Prison on 6 counts of robbery.
On the 18th of September, they were brought to court again but were remanded until October 10.

In a related development, Sipapa’s mother-in-law (Shamira’s mum), Annet Nsamba was arrested and detained at Kabalagala Police station on allegations of keeping some of the stolen exhibits.
Annet Nsamba was arrested on a rainy Tuesday evening when Police officers found her at the shop where she works and took her to her home to carry out investigations. Upon searching her home, the Police discovered that she had some of the stolen items.
