Held under the theme: “Rethinking tourism,” the 2022 paegent saw Buganda’s Nabulya Sydney Kavuma, a student at Makerere University Business School beat 35 other contestants to take the crown.
This was during the Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale that was held on September 23rd, 2022 at the Serena Hotel Kampala.
The pageant saw beautiful contestants across regions showcase their individual creative styles and intellectual capacity.
Sydney who had earlier been voted as Miss popularity impressed the judges with her wit and style and was eventually elevated to overall winner status.
Moru Consolata from Karamoja came second while Ayebare Denise from Kigezi region was crown second runner up.
