Clad in all black outfits,the event that took place on Saturday night was a glamorous cocktail affair.It was the launch of Zziwa's new hair studio in Kisementi, a man famed for the way he handles both men and women's hair.

He is a salonist with a knack for style that has popularised him among celebrities such as Desire Luzinda,Judith Heard and Sheila Gashumba.

In attendance were the usual party goers with everybody making an effort to look exceptionally glamorous.Who knew that black could be styled in so many fabulous ways?

Judging from the pics every body had one hell of a great time and seemed to be in good spirits.

I have had the grand opportunity to interview Anita Beryl because i work for a newspaper company,duh?Haha..but besides that I also stalk her every now and then.She has shop on Tirupati Mazima mall filled with a wonderful display of mostly bridal gowns all made by herself.Couture is her thing and she makes it look like a walk in the park.

Speaking of couture,its not easy to make a gown without it looking cheap and tacky.But Anita,this gal,is way past that level!!

Chic makes a lace gown with all the fancy embellishments on it by herself.Without the funny stitches and stuff.

Radio and Weasel,the dynamic singing duo were a few minutes ago live in a sold out concert at Hotel Africana.As everybody was busy talking about how successful  their show was, my  mind immediately went to their personal lives and I remembered Samira.

Samira Tumi is Weasel's live in girlfriend with whom he has a child.

FASHION FROM THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL,WHO ROCKED,WHO FLOPPED?

The Cannes film festival are a totally glamorous affair reminiscent of our very own Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards where.Its a meeting place for  International actresses who rock the most expensive gowns as they sashay down the huge red carpet.

THE RETURN OF AFRICAN PRINTS

If you know me very well,you know that am a lover of all things African.Talk about being proud of your heritage,haha.
In line with that,I planned an African themed photo shoot so I called my Amarachi models together had their makeup done and we headed off to cayenne where we took the pics from.

I was surprised by how pretty the pics came out because i had under-estimated the power of African print.

I discovered first hand that African prints are the sunshine of prints,they have a life of their own, are colourful,versatile and so beautiful.Just check out the ones below.I bet you love them.

Hey lovelies,as you all may know by now,am organising a fashion show on the third of March this year.The show that is slated for third March will take place at Cayenne Restaurant and Lounge situated in Bukoto.

Since Lauma Lingerie will be on of the four designers that day we did a Photoshoot to show guests a teaser of what to expect that day.

The photoshoot was done by the amazing guys at Events Guru studio located on Katatumba Suites.

I brought together ten models with very diverse models to depict the beauty of lingerie that Lauma is.

Our Camera man at Events Guru was supportive enough to capture the grls best angles.

Faux locs are a sexy and stylish protective style that allows you to see how you would look if you decided to rock real locs. They are a protective style that creates the illusion of real locs by winding extensions around sections of your own hair. They are growing in popularity and as more women rock them, some are finding out there may be concerns on whether or not they are damaging to one’s own hair.

She is the manager of Alecool clothing Kampala, a unisex clothing store that is situated at Equatorial shopping mall shop number 20.

Mwajuma is not just your average blonde fashionista, however,judging from her instagram posts, she is quite brainy too.
Together with her man,Alex Alecool they have grown their brand Alecool Clothing into a recognizable fashion brand among fashionistas both in Uganda and abroad.
Although its popularity is still growing ,the brand promises to be one of the best in future years.

MEET ESTHER NAKITENDE; THE FIERCE PLUS SIZE MODEL THAT EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT

The first time I met this woman(online ofcourse), i literally cried tears of joy.I have met so many women who because they are plus size suffer from a low self esteem, so much you can tell from a distance that their weight is the cause their unhappiness.

So to meet a beautiful plus size woman who is totally unapologetic in the way she flaunts her body and  is obviously confident and healthy,was quite thrilling.

I hope that by sharing her pictures, more and more plus size women will be inspired to love themselves and their bodies.

The market for plus size models in Uganda is still small but is steadily increasing.

On a global scale however,more and more plus size models are in demand so we hope the trend will catch up with here as well.

Okay she is my friend,so am obviously a little bit biased.lol.But I will give credit where credit is due.The popular makeup artist and fashion entrepreneur has revolutionized what it means to be a makeup artiste,a media personality and a style icon in Uganda.
At only 23 years of age(sorry Fyona),this passionate lady already boasts of a state of the art make up studio,a job as a makeup artiste for Vision group TV stations(that is urban TV and Bukedde TV) and several awards to her name.
Lets look at the times Fyona gave us major fashionista status.

Nickita(in gold) arrives for event with friends

.A Night In The Emirates went down on Friday night at Cayenne Lounge in Bukoto.
The Arab themed event organised by Nickita Bhachu of Flames Marketing and Events started at a late 10pm and was attended by Kampala fashion lovers and party lovers.
The fact that it took place on the same night as the presidential debate worried me a bit.I thought it would be a flop.But to my surprise it wasnt!the only glitch was that guests started coming in at a late 10pm,the time the presidential debate ended.
Either way the event ended up being a huge blast with every who is who on the kampala social scene in attendance.
The lady of the night(Nickita Bhachu) and her boo Gareth Onyango arrived in at  around midnight and kicked off what would be a wild night.
The emcees Isaac,Sheila Saltofte and Emcee Kats ensured that revellers had a good time.
The event ended at around 5am in the morning.

Led by Kim Swagga,party people, fashionistas and club goes on the 8th of January headed to club Guvnor for the 'Konvicted to Fashion,'party.
A lot of people predicted that the event would be a flop with the explanation that no event could evet succeed in the month of brokeness.
But Kim Swagga, determined,went ahead to organise the event and voila the event was a success.
What stood out for me was the blue carpet,a charming alternative to the cliche red carpet that we are used to seeing.

Flavia Namulindwa aka the lively presenter of ''Oluyimba Lwo,'' on Bukedde TV,  is not a new face to many people.
